[gameprogrammer] Re: Are AO games bad for CVs?

I'd think that the quality of your coding is more important than the kind of game you've made, be either bloody, AO or any other type - you made the gears turn and make the game work.

Then again, I live in a country where game development is virtually null so I'm not able to tell you anything about if the/a game studio would take note of it, regardless of the type.

Hi,

An adult site, SM stuff, offered me some really nice money for a simple game, not bloddy, and I'm considering to make it. Since this would be the first game with my name on it and since I'm really serious about getting into game business I would like to ask the professionals here: Should I accept the offer?

It's not about money, since I have a nicely well paid part time job. But that's something I could in my free time, quickly, nice payment, nice number of users and it's not agains my religion (hehe). I WON'T do it just for the money, I would do it ONLY if I can use it on my CV.

What do you think? A nice game studio would reject my CV if I put a game like this into my application?

Thanks,

Dirso
