Hail, even the "first round" can cost u upwards of $100k. And win or lose,
there's no stopping the appeals. Best to move assets and declare personal
bankruptcy, i think. The guy who's safest against lawsuits, lives in a
rented home, drives a leased car, and has no posessions worth attaching. Oh
yeah, and has no salary, all his income is dividends paid on shares in his
own (asset-free) company which can be replaced with a trip to the local
registry offics.
