Hi

There are routines already written, which will use
the sound blaster or ablib compatible device drivers, 

which will enable you to play whatever sounds you
wish.  When playing a sound,  the sound needs to be
switch on and then switched off,  if when your writing
your program you can write it in a way that other 
actions can be performed in between the playing of the
sounds,  this is only one other way of getting the
result you require,  I do prefer this method as there
is no reliance on any other external program  being
present.
