Yeah I think he meant for me to be in charge of the artwork.  Like making them (Photoshop and etc.) .   I took a  drawing and design class this year and we used Photoshop the whole year so I have some experience with that. However it still was just photorealistic stuff.   Anyway, here's the deal.: I'm as some would say a good artist (Mostly realistic work), but I'm not very experienced in the Game Art Area.  However, I'll take the "role" of leader, but if there's anyone more qualified to do it then I was suggesting them to speak up.  Also there doesn't really need to be much of a leader.  Just tell every member what their job is (Character #1, Level One Walls, Hedges, Bridge tiles, Trees etc. etc.)

 

THE CHAT program:

    I started working on this about 2 weeks ago.  I decided maybe it would be cool to have a chat program just for us.   I also don't have a server on my computer.  So I decided to make the program use one PERL script as a source of getting previous logged on users (the program checks the list and gets - Name, Nick, IP - from it) Then the rest of the time it's just clients connecting with each other telling each other whether they are connected or not and whether they are sending a message or waiting for a username/nick combe.....blah blah blah....I'm pretty proud of the idea (even though it's not new i guess), but this makes it easy to not only have different OS compatible programs and JAVA based programs, but also a semi-web version.

Hi Steve,

What sort of art are we talking about?? for the design??

The chat thing you are doing sounds good. Unfortunately I can't use AIM,MSN
Messenger or ICQ because the parental filters won't let me - so a mate said I
should get ri of the filters and use something like NetNanny - so now I've
just got to convince my mum to do that.
