Hi everyone.
  Here are the books I have that may pertain to the project:
    Game Architecture and Design by Andrew Rollings and Dave Morris
    OpenGL SuperBible 2nd edition by Richard S. Wright, Jr and Michael Sweet
    Game Programming Gems    edited by Mark Deloura
    Learn Computer Game Programming with DirectX 7.0 by Ian parberry
    Inside Direct 3d (covers directX 7 ) by Peter J. Kovach
    Inside DirectX (this one is kind of old covers directX 5) by Bradley
Bargen and Peter Donnelly

The rest of my books are general C++, Data Structures, and algorithims
reference books.

  Websites that may be usefull:

    http://www.makegames.com     general game programming site. They also
have the full (http://www.makegames.com/sidescroller/) Action Arcade
Adventure Set book, online. (kind of old)
