Re: OTP - menu fix

Get a better night's sleep tonight knowing that your email

they'll be just where you need them to be in the morning.

do strange things to your computer. To be on the safe side, delete this

OK, I've never bothered to write a shell extension before but I
believe I read somewhere that it must reside in a dll, and the dll should
be somehow registered with Windows (don't remember the details).
Since I assume that CuteFTP uses a standard installer/uninstaller
when the program is uninstalled this dll will also be removed, regardless
of how bad, evil or cynical the CuteFTP programmers may be. (I actually
remember having used CuteFTP a very long time ago and at the moment I
thought it was actually pretty ... cute).

If you're not going to take that for an answer, try to look at the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Shell
Extensions\Approved key in the registry. I suspect that there's where the
little bugger is hidden, so you could go on and remove anything containing
'CuteFTP' or whatever.
Please note, however, that as I'm not willing to try it on my
machine (I like my shell extensions as they are) I can't guarantee this
will work as expected. As I know Micro$oft, they've probably designed this
so that another 2 or 3 keys need to be removed/modified.
It would also be 'funny' if removing this key would later confuse
the uninstaller, but it would have to be an extremely poorly written piece
of software if that were to happen.

Suddenly I realise that this has nothing to do with
gameprogramming!
