help on emulators history

I am a student of the MA Hypermedia in London and I am doing an essay on
emulators. Your website is part of my bibliography and I promise to let you
know when the essay is ready. I have been trying to find, though, something
about the history of emulators, doesn`t matter if emulators on its own or
games emulators.
