[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Re: How to program an RPG
Um...definately...doing it any other way would lead to MUCH confusion. I would actually like to offer my graphics engine if anyone is interested. It's based on DirectX. I built the graphics engine on an encapsulation of DirectX I wrote called "Box". Because I take all the ugliness of the graphics handling and put it into a big object (that is composed of many smaller objects). Then on top of the graphics engine, I have the game engine that allows the user to create game objects easily and simpley. If anyone is interested in seeing it. Email me at anime6@earthlink.net . ----- Original Message ----- From: "Matt Harmon" <harmon@uitlive.com> To: <gameprogrammer@gameprogrammer.com> Sent: Tuesday, January 09, 2001 12:14 PM Subject: RE: How to program an RPG > I recommend using an Object Orientated approach for making an RPG. > m. > > -----Original Message----- > From: gameprogrammer-owner@gameprogrammer.com > [mailto:gameprogrammer-owner@gameprogrammer.com]On Behalf Of jeff roth > Sent: Tuesday, January 09, 2001 5:02 AM > To: gameprogrammer@gameprogrammer.com > Subject: Re: How to program an RPG > > > I'm going to agree with it being alot for one email, you could write a whole > > book on it.
