Well as long as the list has a large population then it should be alright, we can continue to keep it alive with our posts, my only worry is that the service provider might notice that his account is inactive and terminate it.

As there are no adverts on the list then, I can only presume that he pays for this service. If he has lost interest then why will he continue to pay? If anyone has more information on this if they could send it to the list it would be appreciated.

In the meantime, I have a game programming mailing list with a large population now at http://www.webbsoft.org.uk if anyone wants to join.
