I am a amateur "game" programmer.  I subscribed to the list to get basic information in that area and help when I thought I could use it.  I am glad there are more experienced "game" programmers on this list so those questions can be answered.  I also like to sit back and watch some of the conversations that come through this list, (not all but some), and all in all I have found it sticks close to the subject of game programming and related topics.  However not just this list is receiving all that crap mail, I receive it in all but one of my email addresses which uses extreme encryption and requires a 24 character alphanumeric code.

 

Just my thought on this

Why do you guys like this list so much anyways -- its for amateur game developers.  no real coders here.
