Direct X 8.0: Hmmmmm

Hey everyone,

I downloaded DX 8 and am pretty excited about it.  It is very well documented 
but they are saying that they combined Direct Draw and Direct 3D but where is 
the method references or tutorials in the help files describing what they did 
with Direct Draw.  Kinda confused.  Do I still create LPDIRECTDRAW7 interfaces 
or do they have another <LPDIRECTDRAW8> hmmmm Need help!!!
