> *Snickers* That could fit a 1/4 of it . The whole file is over 200MB . Holy cow, man. I don't think that you need all that junk. Unless my 28.8 suddenly acquired magic powers when I downloaded the DirectX stuff, there is a much more reasonable alternative, because the file I got was 1.3MB and it works fine. The remaining 127MB contains, to quote from the M$ site, "sample source and miscellaneous utilities." What you really need, assuming that the run-times are already installed (i.e. DirectX 7 is already on your computer, if not, it is an extra 6.3MB), is the "Documents, Headers, and Library Files." I don't even know what's in the SDK, but I know that my DirectX programs work fine without it. :] -[ Neil-Edelman -- dreaded.neil@phreaker.net -- ICQ UIN: 705130 -[ http://neil.freeshell.org/ -- http://moop.bizland.com/ -[ "My air-to-air missile overrides your air traffic control clearance" ================================================================= The GameProgrammer.Com mailing list is for the open discussion of any topic related to the art, science, and business of programming games.
