Yes, I could do that. But, I have found that allowing anonymous posting
results in all sorts of weird things happening. 

In the "near" future I'll be able to move the list to my own server and
be able to do better filtering of the material actually sent to the
list.

I just love all the spam from Argentina. I've considered filtering all
postings from that country. But, was asked not to by the Argentinean
members of the list. I was finally forced to ban all postings from
people with excite.com email addresses because of abuses originating at
that site.
