------------------------------------------------------------ GameProgrammer.Com: Getting Started: CHOICE OF PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE QUESTION ------------------------------------------------------------ By Jim Coraso on Friday, August 11, 2000 - 05:31 pm: Use VC++ (VB is useless, except for macro-type slow business/database applications), Java is good (for internet apps) but just an OOP macro of C/C++. Use the VC++ compiler to compile C/C++ code. Then you can write awsome C windows API games with DirectX or OpenGL. This is what the real game programmers do! If you already have a C or C++ compiler - you're set. ------------------------------------------------------------ DO NOT REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE!
