ok first off allegro is not a compiler
and also djgpp is gay
its ok for a free compiler I guess
good to learn to program c++ cause its free
I would use something like Inprise C++ Builder

next if u want to program games
buy the newest version of Microsoft Visual C++
and get the newest DirextX sdk
then get some books on DirectDraw and DirectSound and
DirectInput

then you will be able to do some cool stuff
