Atomitose,

A good engine for free is Genesis 3D.  While it may not
support all the latest features, it is free, and if you work
at it enough, I can guarantee results.

However, I am in need of a RTS engine... a standard one. 
YOu know... insert unit pic here, unit hera with animation
a, b, c etc...

Any comments (free preferably- I mean the engine)...
