Re: Hercules Graphics Programming

Hmm... I haven't done much programming on Hercules either, but I have some
info on it, I just have to find it again, but if I do, I'll send it to
you, okay? But I know that the Hercules uses the 6425 controller chip (and
so does the CGA), so maybe search for that. If you don't know already,
Hercules doesn't have a native graphics mode, but it is possible to get
into one by programming the 6425 registers. And you'll be dealing with a 1
bit-per-pixel screen. I'll let you know more as I find out more, but I'm
still working on it myself. If you need info on CGA, no problem, but
Hercules, I'm still working on that one. :-)

Ciao,

Lionel

P.s. Does anybody know what could be causing my video problem: I'm using
Linux with text mode as 132x43, and I keep getting old text at the extreme
bottom of the screen, anybody know what can cause this? (anyways, 132x43
sure looks great!)
