re:blocked access to x2ftp

 The more I learn, The more I get confused.I cannot access x2ftp because
its folder is explicitly marked games or gamesrc.However,lots of game
downloading sites escape the blockage.
  Since I am the only one in this institute of 2K+ students,I cannot
expect these blocks to be waived because of my requests.
  I do not have a home pc to pcAnywhere.
  That accounts for the two kind advices I received.
  Somebody trying to help me please tell me someplace where I can find
game source codes which are NOT stored in a directory game*.(The proxy
server does not seem to mind game* in domain names ? ? )
