you can usually pull in a quick check to pay off your R&D and perhaps a little bred on the table. In short big flashy programs sell the fastest and if you can make the games flashier the chances are you'll be able to recoup development costs. Then you advance the (tested)tech to the wider market for the not so flashy programs that could get something useful done for the user. whelp that my 2 dollars worth.
