C++

I downloaded the turbo C++ compiler from borland.com,
yet, since I am used to version like 3 or something in
windows 3.1, i dont know how to access the screen
where you type, i think this is the compiler, can
anyone who has d-loaded this tell me what file to
open, and in what directory.  I went to their help
page, but its more about the actual coding, and not
how to get there.

It also talks about writing code in a different
application, then writing some crap about telling a
different thing to compile a certain file, this is new
to me, so any help is greatly appreciated!!!
