Why don't you try http://www.gametutorials.com? :-) Also, there's quite a lot you CAN do with Qbasic (I own Microsoft QuickBasic 4.5, I think that's what you're reffering to), the only trouble I ever DID have with it, is that it's hard to use machine language and Assembly procedures with it. But stick with C++! It's the best for games :-).
