RE: AI resources

Hi,

I sent a copy of the VGA Planets computer player AI modules source code to
the mailing list, but it didn't accept it, so if anyone is interested email
me and I will sent it to them.

Tom.

Hello Ben,

Thank you for your response.

Yes i took all of that into consideration however books are OLD
techniques. In the ever evolving growth of technological accomplishments by
the time an established author writes a book publishes it and it reaches the
shelves there is new techniques algorithms and other goodies now available.
I want to contact an entity that is constantly doing research on AI. Like I
contact Siggraph in reference to graphic applications and infrastructures on
my designs.

In developing games AI is the most ignored issue of it all. The reason why
Half Life got so popular was based on it's AI. I have noticed developers are
now beating their heads on graphics and eye candy ignoring everything else.

Thanks
bryant
