The Gnu Compiler Collection, and Open Source collection of compilers
(C, C++. Fortran, Ada, etc) all licensed under the GPL.  You can get
copies of the compiler (for free of course, and with full source to
the compilers -- they're Open Source) from any of several hundred
servers on the 'net.  See
