You do know that, that object the program is referencing exsists.  You probably just have a slight symantec error in your main function.  Or maybe no main() function at all.  I hope I'm not insulting anyone's intelligence here.  I mean, you could very well be missing a file.  But in most cases a  .OBJ  file is something from a program you compile.  And BTW, where might I download Borland C++ 5.5?  I have an older version.  Actually what I need is Turbo C++ since I'm programming a game in pure DOS.

Hello, I have a question for the people who have downloaded Borland C++ 5.5.
Has anyone gotten this error when compiling?

Error: Unresolved external '_main' referenced from C:\BORLAND\BCC55\LIB\C0X32.OB
J
If you have do you know how to fix it and even if you haven't could you send me a C0X32.OBJ, i am
anxious to try this compiler out.

I am currently downloading Borland C++ 5.5 and will probably install it tomarrow.
once intallation is complete I'll run a quick search for the .obj
