I am interested in using dual monitors, will appreciate any info on this issue. I heard that two monitors can be used simultanously, one for the source program, other having the output. I think something like a combination of MDA and VGA works, but for that do I have to run any special driver? What is a Window Manager? Is it a third party program? In a super-large seamless desktop with more than 1 monitor, will it hold the same content, or the screen will be devided in proportion? Is there a way to configure? Is it possible to make each one a discrete display and have different window or output? Is there some seperate utility or third party program that is needed? I have a dream some years ago, when I first saw networking, that is, a bunch of nodes/terminals. My Idea was: Let's say, there are ten monitors in a row, and a car starts racing from the first monitor, and gradually it finishes in the last one. In this process, I thought some interesting things will be clear to me, like networking, data transfer between programs, marshelling etc. (oops!). I was stuck with just one big problem, I didn''t have ten monitors in the first place to start with, then I didn't know how to connect them, etcetra etcetra.. Some thought. Naeeym.
