----- Original Message ----- From: Tim Elder <tim@tekotago.ac.nz> To: <gameprogrammer@gameprogrammer.com> Sent: Sunday, January 02, 2000 12:26 AM Subject: Re: Y2K I disagree. The 20th century was from 1900-1999 just like the first century was from 0-99, the second from 100-199. The second century started when the first finished. That's why we are in the 21st century now. I agree another thing is When a person is born, e.g. Jesus Christ (theoretical date, not actual for arguments sake), he is not one. He is in his first year but he is not one. He only becomes one after he has lived for 365 complete days (leap years disregarded etc etc.) Therefore you start of in the year 0!! __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
