HELLO.... I'm ready to start a game... I'm programming in C/C++ with DirectX (DirectDraw, DirectSound, DirectPlay and the basis of Direct3D IM) We need to make a web site for all who want to make this project (to show the progress, the news of the development)... See you later... Pichel Michel... Hello all of you, I've been following this mailinglist for a long time now so I would learn something about gameprogramming. This doesn't work. Some people are very VERY new and some other people are very very VERY good. To good for me. So, I have an idea that will teach us all: WE START WRITING A GAME TOGETHER!!!! We start with the beginning and explain everything very carefully so everybody will understand. And...we continue until it's finished. I suggest we start with a 2D beat 'm up like street fighter, mortal kombat,.... or a 2D sidescroller like Super Mario.( one level..... ) This won't be easy to do with all of us at this mailinglist but it's possible!!! Later people might say:"Look, this fantastic 3D game was once written by the guys from gameprogrammer.com" Let me know what you think about it!!!!!!!
