Regarding the looping problem. (Permanent Delivery Failure (fwd))

Hi All,

Anyone else recieve this email message in their box?

Lou,

It looks like it might be related to the looping problem we are having.
Since everytime I post, I get one of these and after checking, found that
there seems to be a custom mail-box setup for re-delivery of email to the
list for some reason.

In anycase, this might be of use in solving the problem. I've included the
header and body of the error email I recieved below. It was apparently an
error message sent to my mailbox directly due to an error on the remote
end. Though it does come from the same place as the source of the looping
problem. (nabeghe.com is the same as fararayaneh.com)

Hi Seungrog,

Well, at this point in time, you will need:

- License from Sony of [America/UK/Japan].

- Development workstation setup.
  - $20,000+ for the workstation setup.

- Graphics workstation kit/software to work with the PSX2
to develop the graphics and do the simulation work for the
  PSX2.

All of the above, with the possible exception of #3, can be acquired from
Sony directly. The third, I think, can be acquired through a license third
party and is available to those who are license developers.

In addition to the above, you will, of course, need:

- C/C++ compiler/experience
- 2d/3d graphics experience
- A computer to work with.

- Money and a business identity. :)

Now... it might have something to do with the fact that I'm not a member
of a game related company, or maybe, it is because I'm not a professional
game developer... but I still haven't heard from anyone at Sony concerning
my application for a developers' license. :| But then again, there is
little I can do with it anyways at the current time. ;) I think I should
probably go and publish a couple of successful games first. ^_^;;

You can acquire information from Sony through their website(s):

www.sony.com
www.playstation.com
www.scea.com

The above are the US/generic versions of the sites. There are UK and Japan
specific sites, but I don't remember them at this time. :|

Good luck! If you get a dev kit, it would be cool to hear how nice it is.
;)

Wing.
