Yes Borland(Inprise) has delphi, c++ and java compilers and are in the
process of porting
some of them to linux. They will be using there on VCL so that it will be
easier to port from
win to linux, or linux to win.

"Inprise will ship JBuilder for Linux, a Java development tool, in the first
quarter, and Linux versions of Delphi and CBuilder will be available in
mid-2000"
