Need info to write undelete program

Does anyone have/know where I can get the source code for the C library
function unlink()?  I'm planning on writing "Undelete" for FreeDOS.  The DEL
command that they use just uses the standard unlink function.

Even better than the source would be FAT specs on how it stores deleted
files...
