Your Help

I had noticed in one of your posts that someone was
looking for a graphics artist. So, I thought I
share with you all about our openings.

We're the award-winning creators of NASCAR '98 and
'99 from EA Sports, Hot Wheels Turbo Racing, Madden
Football, Advanced Dungeons and Dragons Pool of
Radiance 2, Star Trek: Deep Space 9, Byzantine
(Discovery Channel Multimedia), La Russa Baseball,
etc. We were finalists for two Academy of
Interactive Arts and Sciences awards in both 1998
and 1999, three 1998 Codies (the maximum number
allowed) and we swept the 1997 European interactive
awards.

More importantly, we have consistently created
titles that make the console and PC best-seller
lists. Stormfront has a unique culture that values
high performance and respect for the individual,
with slow, steady team growth over many years. As a
result, many team members have been with the company
five-plus years, and now 8-year and 10-year people
are being awarded trips to Lake Tahoe and Hawaii to
celebrate their long-term work with Stormfront.

Founded in 1988 and now a company of 70 veteran
gamers, we've worked hard to establish ourselves as
one of the most respected game development houses in
the business, delivering A+ titles to top publishers
including Electronic Arts, Mindscape/Mattel,
Discovery Channel Multimedia, Sony and America
Online.

Our Projects Include:

Racing PSX2 and PSX -- Stormfront's NASCAR series,
published by EA Sports, has been one of the top hits
in the industry since 1997. Its strengths lie in
its high frame rate, great multi-camera 3D graphics
with minimal draw-in and detailed crashes, and
faithful reproduction of the physics, look and
paint-scraping strategy of NASCAR racing. We're now
taking on a new racing franchise on PSX2 and PSX and
want to make THE best racing game for both the new
and old platforms.

Role-Playing – Stormfront has deep experience in
FRP’s with #1 hits in the SSI Advanced Dungeons and
Dragons Gold Box Series, and the #1 online RPG of
all time, Neverwinter Nights. We’re now working on
the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons game Pool of
Radiance 2 for the PC, the sequel to one of the
best-selling RPG’s of all time, creating a major new
game that will feature key innovations in game play.

Action – Hot Wheels Turbo Racing from Electronic
Arts for PSX and N64 is one of the most eagerly
awaited action titles of 1999, with wild 3D action
as Hot Wheels cars careen through loop-the-loops,
corkscrews and jumps against a background of
fantastic landscapes. For next year’s version we’re
looking to push the envelope still farther, with new
special effects, new cars, new tracks and even
better performance.

Kids’ Game – We’re working with one of the top toy
companies in the world to create a fun and
educational set of PC titles for kids aged 4-6. The
exploration part of the game is what counts, with
the education coming from that exploration. Lots of
whimsical graphics and opportunities for original
design.

Our Opportunities

Over the past 10 years, Stormfront has consistently
demonstrated steady moderate growth, good stability
and a strong personnel retention record. We are now
considering several new project opportunities for
which we would like to add staff. We're looking for
the following:

Action Title
Senior or Lead PSX Programmer
Senior N64 Programmer
N64 Programmer
PSX Programmer

RPG
Level Designer

Kids’ Title
Associate Producer or Producer
We work with top publishers, If anyone is
