DLL for DOS Applications running under Windows!

Hi all, 

	I would like to know if it's possible a DOS App running into a
MS-DOS window to call functions provided by a DLL. 
	Unfortunately, the dos app must be 16-bit because it uses the BGI
(the compiler is BorlandC 3.1) graphics routines and assembly routines. I
need some functions provided by the winsock.DLL to share data with another
(Windows or DOS) application.
	If someone could help-me, I'll be very grateful!
