[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] RE: Visual C++ 5 or 6 ?
Visual C++ 6 is definitely much better. It has many additional enhancement. It is catered for commercialised total solutions. Much more "Real" than games. For a 15 you're in a good age to start. I started when I was about..13 or so. At those times it was Q-basic and hyperlink & batch. Assembly..etc. I have found some very interesting engines developed by several companies. One of them is the Corel's Click & Create. It is relatively "easy" to use and definitely suit you. The C++ involve in game programming is still too deep for beginners. I suggest VB scripts etc. or..java. regards, Hellgazer > -----Original Message----- > From: gameprogrammer-owner@gameprogrammer.com > [mailto:gameprogrammer-owner@gameprogrammer.com]On Behalf Of NWR ??? > Sent: Saturday, September 04, 1999 11:01 PM > To: gameprogrammer@gameprogrammer.com > Subject: Visual C++ 5 or 6 ? > > > > WOW.
